CRAFT CLUB HEL x Kirpilä: Brioche Edition

Join Juha Vehmaanperä for a special brioche edition of Craft Club HEL at the Kirpilä Art Collection. Bring your own yarns and circular needles. For two-colour brioche knitting you’ll need two yarns of similar thickness and circular or double-pointed needles. You can also work on your own project if you wish.

Vehmaanperä is a Helsinki-based textile artist and knitwear designer (Master of Arts, Aalto University) who has taught numerous courses in the field of art and design related to soft materials. In 2022, they were awarded the Young Designer of the Year in Finland. Their work has received international acclaim at Hyères Fashion Festival, Dutch Design Week, and Copenhagen Fashion Week, and has been seen on artists such as CL and Tate McRae.
