Warmly welcome to an afternoon of story sharing and chai at the exhibition ”Waiting for the hidden gardens to draw us – closer” together with Taina Nathan and Uzair Amjad on Sun 26 May at 4 pm–6 pm at the Kirpilä Art Collection!

Taina Nathan and Uzair Amjad will be sharing stories in English on the notion of home over a cup of chai. The topic on the notion of home is in relation to the current exhibition on view at the Kirpilä Art Collection.

Kirpilä Art Collection is exhibiting its second contemporary art show ”Waiting for the hidden gardens to draw us – closer”. Curated by Nayab Ikram and Ramina Habibollah, the exhibition navigates through the questions of multiple interpretations of home. The featured artists Ana Gutieszca, Anna Ting Möller, Alejandro Montero Bravo, and Polat Ghasemloo have worked to reimagine home based on feelings and memories through sound, video, sculpture, installation and painting.

The exhibition is open until 21 August 2019. Free entry on Wed at 2 pm–6 pm and Sun at 12 pm–4 pm. Groups also by appointment.
