Sibelius – Boulanger – Nyström – Pylkkänen
Mezzo-soprano Lotta Pylkäs and pianist Aino Heimonen formed a lied duo at the start of their studies at the Sibelius Academy, where they are tutored by Ilmo Ranta. Their teachers have included Heikki Pellinen, Gustav Djupsjöbacka, Collin Hansen, Keval Shah and Petteri Salomaa, and they have actively taken part in master classes given by Hartmut Höll, Daniel Fueter, Angelika Kirchschlager and Andreas Schmidt.
Lotta Pylkäs is studying classical vocal arts and musical theatre under the tutelage of Ulla Raiskio, Selina Sillanpää and Pauliina Kiuru. Aino Heimonen is studying piano under Antti Hotti and Naoko Ichihashi. Both members of the duo graduated from vocational education at Helsinki Conservatory in the spring of 2019.

Schubert – Finzi
Olivia Moss and Kumi Shimozaki began their collaboration in late 2020 at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. While Olivia is originally from Britain and Kumi from Japan, they are both taking Master’s studies at the academy. They came second in the Helsinki Lied competition in October 2021. In August 2022, they gave a lied concert in the Sigyn Hall of Turku Conservatory under the title “Seasons of Life and Nature”.
