We check the COVID-19 passport at the door as of Sunday 12 December 2021.

The Kirpilä Art Collection is open for the public on Wednesdays from 2 pm till 6 pm, and on Sundays from 12 pm till 4 pm. You can arrive to the Collection without signing up in advance.

Please do not visit the Kirpilä Art Collection if you have even mild symptoms of a cold or if you suspect having been exposed to the coronavirus! Ring the buzzer (marked “Taidekoti Kirpilä”). If the reception area is busy, we will ask you to wait for a moment. Please maintain a safety distance to other people, and do not block the front door or staircase while you wait. Please do not wait inside the stairwell. All visitors over the age of 12 are required to use a face mask inside the museum.

We want to make sure your visit is as safe as possible. Therefore, please:

  • wash your hands or apply hand sanitizer as soon as you enter, and ensure proper hand hygiene throughout your visit;
  • remove your shoes or wear the shoe covers provided;
  • when moving about the gallery, maintain a safety distance to other visitors or staff;
  • avoid cash payments.
